I’m not a boycotter because I love the game. However, I really don’t care about winning or losing anymore. Part of getting older too. I just bought a drum set for myself and my young son. Would rather invest time in that than being depressed because some millionaires lost their game.

Just talked to a friend about this. I have quit all pro sports. No NCAA except parts of a few LSU games. Other than the great steal in politics my life is so much better. Lots of free time with my wife and the grandkids.

I never thought I’d be the guy that when someone asks “who you got tonight?” I’d say who’s playing? Now I am that guy, it happened today at work and I forgot that the NCG was today. Before this year I’d be the guy giving out the betting lines and o/u’s a week in advance of every LSU game. I’d be filling everyone in about recruiting and keeping up to date on the rumor mill. I’ve never missed a snap of LSU football from the time I was a young’n to before this season. I probably watched 10-15 minutes of live LSU football this year.

Last year fulfilled the dreams I have had for a perfect LSU season. I can die happy now. The professionalization and politicization of college football has almost ruined it for me.

Haven't watched a down of anything but LSU this year and haven't missed it. I forgot the NC game was on until just a few minutes ago.
LSU's nuclear virtue signaling from earlier today has all but put the nail in the coffin for my love of the business of football.

I love football. Is there a game on tonight?

No more golf either.

I guess I will be reading more.

Simple.
1. Watched no other game other than LSU this year.
2. Watched most of LSU game this year buy not every game, every play.
3. Considering not going next year.

Completely gone.

Even college now.

Still like college football. This year never really felt like a season with games continuously being cancelled and moved to players having to sit out. Even if LSU were there, any watching a team that started their season Oct 25 just feels weird. Along with no tailgating, playing in empty stadiums takes a lot away from what makes it special. I’m still glad we had college football though. I use to be huge Saints fan, but haven’t watched an NFL game all year and don’t miss it one bit. I won’t be back to watching it either so hopefully they get college football straight for next year!

I watch because my wife still enjoys it but I don’t really give a shite about it. The losses used to ruin my weeks after but now life goes on as usual. I stopped buying team gear and collectibles as well. I can’t say I boycott sports but I don’t care anymore.

LSU and all college football is dead to me. 2019 was great. No further interest.

All pro sports no longer exist.
