Then why would you want it passed? Just to spite Obama? Is that really more important than the well being of America?

Find me a link to where I want this bill to pass.

Thanks

They are trying to make us believe that once they pass this bill that there will 2 more stages later to amend it.

That they need to pass this bill and then later amend the shite out of it until it looks like a bill we wish they'd pass now. So, they create a new law that is very similar to the old "Affordable Care Act" through reconciliation (same thing, but lite'r), then they can amend that law by taking out the regulations and adding new laws that are free-market based through 3 different phases.

If this is what they plan, then pardon me for not trusting them (you know these past years have left little trust left over for either side), and wishing they would show us all 3 phases in their entirety so we know what we will be getting.

You wish to sell me this bill, then show me all phases to it.

The two headline-grabbing estimates from the CBO report have been taken out of context by some lawmakers, including Pelosi and Sánchez. The CBO estimated that under the GOP replacement bill, 14 million fewer people would be insured in 2018 than under the current health-care law and 24 million fewer people insured by 2026.

But this does not mean all of the 14 million or 24 million will be “thrown off” health insurance or “lose” health insurance.

Some of the people who would be uninsured would choose not to have insurance, because they had decided to obtain health insurance only to avoid a penalty under the ACA’s individual mandate; the replacement bill eliminates the mandate. Others, such as elderly Americans, would not get insurance because the premiums are too high. (The replacement bill would allow the elderly to be charged five times as much as the youngest insured, compared with a 3:1 ratio under the ACA.) Many of the uninsured people would lose insurance because of reductions in Medicaid enrollment — after some states discontinue the Medicaid expansion under Obamacare.

And moments ago from a Capitol Hill Reporter:

New CBO score on GOP changes has same coverage estimate: 24 million more uninsured by 2026; 14 million more uninsured by next year

Spending increase now, tax cuts soon

I've seen that show before.

BingGlo!!!

Yes, sir, that is how we do things here in Washington, because we can't get the 60 votes brother!!

And, they can't get the votes as a matter of fact.

If we want a new law we wait and get at least 6 more senators elected so we can change it for good.

The reality is that we are going to be stuck with Obamacare no matter what.

Send one of the repeal bills that already passed over to the Senate. A promise is a promise and these frickers were sent to DC on that promise.

Ya big goof! That is a nominal figure, and thus misleading to bring up.

When you force people to enroll or pay a fine, that's what happens. You have always struggled with basic econ though.

It's a factual representation of the shite burger your Congressmen thought they could pass - until they couldn't.

Lol at implying the new CBO report changed the number (They didn't) when the reference was thoroughly debunked.

This is going like your fake news Brookings reference.

Please learn to read more than talking points. you're as bad as the Breitbart crowd.

BingGlo again. They can just repeal it and replace it later when we get the votes in the Senate.

Obamacare is dead anyways so lets start the process by repealing the bill in it's entirety.

It will cause a lot of people to lose their health insurance though and that is why they won't do it.

What Obama and his elitists puppeteers did was called direct action. They put something in place that and it is about impossible to uproot it without mass problems.

That's the point. It STILL leaves 24M fewer people insured than not passing the AHCA. Easy concept, not sure why you aren't getting it - are you just pretending to be ignorant?

The problem is there is no way to fix this shite that is Obamacare before the midterm elections.

If Trump get this bill passed the Republicans will at least be able to run on having repealed and replaced Obamacare like they promised.(Even if they truly haven't, thats politics)

There is zero chance anything remotely like what the Freedom Caucus wants passing either chamber. Thats also politics and reality.

What Rand Paul and his buddies are calling for will cost the Republicans both chambers in 2018 and nothing will ever get done. Trump lame duck.

Pass this shite burger and move on. In this case there is no reward for suicide by principles.

The Democrats are laughing their asses off.

They can do that because they don't have to use that health care. So the people who voted in any democrat can sit home and collect their government award until the country goes bankrupt. Then when they don't get their sugar daddy check they can blame the republicans. Must be great to power people into death cycles.

And you just keep flailing about. It doesn't "leave" 24M uninsured. Many of that group would prefer to be uninsured, especially given how shitty the plans are. You are just distorting the truth.
