I'm saying that everyone thought Obamacare was impossible to pass, but it passed. So your dead set attitude that a bill like Rand's could never pass is not accurate.

Did you not get enough down votes in your first thread about this a few days ago?
As i explained to you in the other thread a couple days ago, the RINOcare plan that you love so much will lead to the Democrats taking back over. And, it doesn't matter if the Rand plan doesn't pass the senate. Make them vote on it. Come 2018, Dems have 25 seats up for reelection, 9 in states Trump carried. The Republicans can easily beat the Dems over their head with that vote, get 60 needed in Senate, and come 2018, pass a sensible repeal/replace act that actually removes the entitlements from Obamacare, and lowers cost.
It's amazing anyone can support RINOcare. It does not address cost at all. Simply dumbs down some of the Obamacare issues, and pushes the can down the road.

And the Dems didn't start out with 60 votes in the Senate. They got those votes with lots of arm twisting and deal making.

You do know that ACA did not get 60 dem votes, as there were only 58 Dems in the Senate. It got 2 independents to vote for it. In addition, the PPACA is not the bill that was sent to Obama's desk for ratification, the reconciliation act was. Learn something.

look at the 2018 Senate election map. Trump will very likely have 60 GOP Senators come January 2019. Ryan is all frantic to get this through now bc he knows he'll not be able to get anything this pork laden through if we wait a year.
