Trump be as successful?
Trump's been in office under four months.

Would you be making the comments you are about Clinton after his first TWENTY-four months in office?

This is so early in year 1 of his presidency. I'm no Trump fan, but if there ends up being zero impeachable evidence then I think Dems will pay dearly in 2018 and 2020. Will make them look shitty to independents, weak to Dems, and will energize the Reps.

It was a simple question. Does Trump have what it takes to be successful amidst turmoil? If so, his followers need to relax. If not, maybe it's time to check the blind support at the door.

Indeed.
And it was a simple answer: No one knows.

Just as was the case following the first two disastrous Clinton years .

Five year investigation of Clinton because pubs thought he might have made money illegally on an Arkansas land deal years before his presidency.

4 or 5 separate investigations of Hillary on Behgazi that lasted 3 years.

Nothing ever found.

Now Trumpettes think its unfair to look into whether our most powerful officials in government colluded with a foreign power to win the presidency illegally.

When there is smoke coming out on a daily basis and a 10 month investigation that no one is privy to publically yet.

Talk about false equivalents.

A large part of how the Rs won was to cloak HRC in scandal - email and benghazi. Dems learned that lesson.

I fully believe if Trump resigns now, that will pave the road ahead toward a more just, verdant and peaceful America.

Does your response mean you will keep lying, start a thread of your own on the topic you want to discuss or both?

Meh, as my OP proved, sore loser lefties don't care whether President Trump committed a high crime or misdemeanor for which he should be impeached.

Your sore loser lefties' plan is just to continue to say you see smoke so you can frick with President Trump and his administration.

One of your own admitted it so you might as well also admit it.

I had a discussion about this 2 hours ago with my brother who is a conservative Republican not nearly as politically astute as me.

Him: I'm tellin' ya, Zach. Trump is never gonna recover from all this. He didn't handle it right at all. He won't be able to get anything done. Trust me.

Me: Didn't you swear to me that Trump had no chance of winning the GOP primary?

Him: Yeah, but....

Me: No buts! You said it with no caveats. You were wrong.
Didn't you swear to me that Trump had no chance against Hillary in the general?

Him: Yeah, but..

Me: No buts. You have been wrong in predicting Trump's demise for a year now. What makes you think you're gonna have a right prediction after 20 wrong ones?

His 'buts' are all 20-20 hindsight and rationalizing. Predictions don't deal in hindsight. They're about foresight. When the pundits are always wrong and Trump is always right then my default position is with Trump and I'm totally relaxed.
