Negative, she has done it for many years. I have as well. Just to see what the inside will be/look like before-hand. most are unlocked from my experience.

I am sure many ppl do.

Yeah!

We should return to the good ole days when you could get shot for stealing tools. Property > life.

The answer to apathetic policing isn’t self-policing. It’s a likely consequence, but not a desirable one.

But you do you.

Chase after a petty thief with guns-a-blazing in your financed Ford Raptor.

They were mostly peaceful tools like screw drivers and socket sets not Hammers or Wrenches!

The tools were valued at less than $950.00 so all is well.

No!

We should continue to let criminals use their worthless lives as leverage to steal stuff from us and we can't use significant force to stop them!

If youre leaving tools on a jobsite these days, and its not secure, I'm not feeling sorry for you when they disappear.

This case is not one I will support. Those dudes were really really dumb.

arbery was on caught on video numerous times inside that house before he was shot. during the day and at night. a firearm (reported) and $2k in fishing goods (not reported) were stolen during the break-ins.
Just on this one. There were guns stolen from a vehicle 4 weeks before Travis reported a gun stolen from his vehicle. The earlier one was caught on camera. It was a white guy. Very likely the same white guy even though the picture was posted on social media 4 weeks before dumbass Travis left his gun unlocked in his truck.

That is at least 3 guns (in 1 month) in the hands of criminals because the dipshits in this neighborhood can't be trusted with securing firearms.

Ahmaud Arbery was a petty thief. Clearly the police either, 1) weren't doing their job, or 2) knew he was breaking and entering and refused to do anything. Out of desperation the homeowner called the police.

Five times Arbery entered that house, five times........FIVE TIMES. Ridiculous.

What's ridiculous is that you can't fricking read.

"In none of the videos is Arbery seen taking anything and English told the court he did not believe anything was stolen during the young black man's visits"

"In none of the videos is Arbery seen taking anything and English told the court he did not believe anything was stolen during the young black man's visits"

Are you really that fricking stupid? Serious question.

FIVE TIMES...as you said...and he took ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Moron.

English is that "desperate" homeowner. Even he says Arbery didn't take anything. But you keep on being you.

The level of mental retardation of posters like you never ceases to amaze.

You're sitting there telling us that you would risk death, leaving behind a widow and making your children fatherless... to stop some guy from stealing your neighbor's lawn mower?

Are you out of your goddamned mind?

People are leaving that part out. It's not like they shot him running across a field. They stopped him, he tried to take their weapon, he was shot.

You left out a couple things. Before he tried to take the gun, they pointed the gun at him, and also hit him with their truck.

Exactly. In other words, they assaulted him.

He’s also be alive with a misdemeanor summons for trespassing had he not been chased down by idiot vigilantes.

Entering residential properties (even if under construction) with the intent to steal something is, in fact, a felony in the state of Georgia.

Can none of you fricking dumbasses sticking up for these rednecks even read?

"In none of the videos is Arbery seen taking anything and English told the court he did not believe anything was stolen during the young black man's visits"

How in the ever-loving frick do you know he had the intent to steal when even the propery owner said that he never took anything in FIVE trips?

Seriously...again...are you really this fricking stupid, or are you just some lowlife piece of shite that thinks this guy's life wasn't worth anything?

The NYT reported...

quote:

Jurors on Thursday were also shown a videotaped deposition of the home’s owner, Larry English. He described his concerns about the man who kept showing up in the house he was building, and the items he suspected had been stolen from him.

Things were stolen, and it's not outrageous to assume that someone with a history of stealing shite, and who was caught many times on your property where you think your things were stolen, was the person behind said stolen items.

You need to realize English is covering his own arse and trying to distance himself from this situation. That's why he lawyered up immediately after the shooting.

One of the McMichaels told police that he thought the jogger stole junior's gun out of his truck but wasn't sure and the guy in the second truck told the cops he thought the jogger shot somebody. These guys are toast. Not only did they not have any reason to detain the jogger, they didn't even offer any plausible reason to police when they were interviewed.

WTF does not actually having stolen something have to do with intent?

Honest question, do you know what intent means?

Also, English is just covering his arse. Arbery had a history of theft, he was caught on his property, and he, at the very least, thinks things were stolen off his property. But no, he doesn't think it was Arbery... The dude lawyered up instantly once Arbery was shot. He wants to distance himself from this case.

He put up cameras for a reason. He put up motion sensors for a reason. He showed neighbors tape of Arbery for a reason. He called his neighbors to keep an eye out on his property for a reason. And the day Arbery was shot, he specifically called a neighbor to call police because his security system caught Arbery on his property for a reason.
