burglary is a felony. that house had been burglarized.

The house was not burglarized on the day in question.

Do you think you win arguments by outlasting people? You seem super dumb.

he wasn't a threat to anyone doing that.

Ahmaud Arbery was a petty thief. Clearly the police either, 1) weren't doing their job, or 2) knew he was breaking and entering and refused to do anything. Out of desperation the homeowner called the police.

Five times Arbery entered that house, five times........FIVE TIMES. Ridiculous.

County D.A., police sanctioned crime IMO. The Justice System is collasping in this country. The criminals are running the Justice System.

The local police didn't want to fill out all that paperwork over trespassing, petty theft and his burglary occupation.

These dumbasses only give more fuel to the left to hate guns more and try harder to find ways to get rid of personal gun ownership.

Won't affect the left's view of guns at all. Won't even move the needle. They are who they are.

That's not immediate knowledge

arbery was seen running out of that house the day he was shot. he was a suspected burglar. a felon.

Sure they suspected him. That's not the deciding factor.

What IMMEDIATE knowledge of a burglary did they have?

Running away isn't enough. That may constitute immediate knowledge of a misdemeanor (trespass).

They did not. Mcmichael stated he was outside working on his boat when he saw him run by in front of their house.

Pretty sure the crime rate was worse in 1971. I'll look up the data when I get back on a computer

Way worse. The 2019 crime rate per 100k people is nearly half of what it was in 1971. Basically, the late 70's until the mid-90's was a real-life purge in the US.

This case is the opposite of rittenhouse.

But in a way VERY similar. People are sick and tired of the justice system no longer working and now taking the law into their own hands.

Just like the video of those grocery store shoplifters yesterday that were blatantly stealing multiple baskets of grocery's in broad daylight right out in the open with zero worries of being busted.

Now its just a matter of time when someone tries to stop them with a gun or they have a gun and another shooting. This is a lawless country and now we are having violent outcomes because of that.

I don't think the shirtless guy is him. At least it does not look like him.

As best I can tell, none of what people are putting in this thread is from the trial.
I’m sure some of this will get nailed down in time, but right now people are jumping to conclusions. Some of the tapes that I have seen are grainy as hell.

Guess that depends on location.

My county had a single, part time, probation agent with a tiny office in the courthouse in the early 80's. Now it has 4 or 5 full time agents.

County population is almost identical to what it was in 1980.

You're just discussing the police state expansion, not the crime rate
