Because Trump continuously gives the media so much ammo to paint him out to be “literally Hitler”, uses nicknames for people that even 7th graders would find childish, and a lot of the general public is turned off by that to the point where they will vote for anyone other than Trump. It’s so unnecessary the way he acts, if he were capable of acting like an adult even half the time, he’d still be president right now and we’d be gearing up for Tim Scott as the first non-shitty black president.
Which is why it’s possible he doesn’t win this election over a bumbling idiot who could die of old age 15 seconds from now and no one would be surprised. Let that sink in.

Now we got a guy whose cult ACTUALLY BELIEVES that the Republicans have either A) not managed to find an answer in 4 years to the Dems “cheating”, or B) are “too moral” to cheat themselves and fight fire with fire.
They actually believe one of those 2 things.

This is the problem with people like you. You want to blame only Trump for the discourse when the left (including the media) does the same thing to him and his supporters. You never talk about the lies they spread about him like the bloodbath comment, the calling of republican voters names like deplorable, the fact they sabotaged his presidency with Russian collusion hoax, or currently trying to bankrupt him with trumped up charges. You expect him to just take it, sit down, and shut up. Well guess what, we had that with GWB and Romney. You get bent out of shape about mean tweets instead of understanding why he’s counterpunching.

He shouldn’t even give them words that can be twisted. There’s no twisting about him acting like a toddler. He does. Things like the bloodbath thing weren’t his fault. But “I won’t be a dictator, except on day one.” It was obvious that would and could be twisted. Someone more careful with their words would’ve known that. When they do lie, they’re doing it because he turns so many of them off that they think the worst of everything he says, always.
The cult thinks it’s funny, and doesn’t realize it may cost us 2 elections. Nearly cost us the House, (also due to the unrelated overturning Roe v Wade which did basically nothing). Cult wants to be entertained. If we lose, they’ll just say it’s stolen for another 4 years.
