Hope and Change VOR.
You voted for it, yet you don't even care now.
That's how horrible the last 6 years have been.
Congrats!

This is a woman who grew up in a Hollywood family, never working a regular job in her life, and makes $16 million per movie. And she and her husband are doing a "conscious uncoupling". So damn out of touch.
She really has to be the single most out of touch celebrity I can think of. She an absolute narcissist and really can't fathom the fact that people can't afford a person who solely watches their diets, can't afford trinkets that cost thousands of dollars a piece, and only work about 4 months out of the year. She may even be worse than Will Smith, which is a hell of an accomplishment.

You White Knight for Obama constantly around here and you expect us to believe that you didn't vote for Obama and don't like Obama?
What's the problem? Obama not Leftist enough for you?

Can there be much doubt at all what would happen to the voices of dissent against Obama, were he to gain the exact powers that Gwyneth Paltrow wishes that he possessed?
Yes, there can

So, please. Someone 'splain. A sitting president attends a fundraiser at someone's home who "gushes" all over him. TMZ or whomever repeats it. Is this really a big deal? Other than the fact you guys think he's an a-hole (and I think he's an ineffective president), is there anything significant about this event?

Correction. "Apple" is a she. It's Apple, because Rutabaga was already taken.

Really tells you how stupid Chris Martin is, doesn't it?

Yep. Grew up in a wealthy Hollywood family. Her dad, Mr. Paltrow, became very very wealthy working as an executive in the TV and movie industry for his entire life. She was raised in wealth and privilege and has lived each day of your life in wealth and privilege.
You could not possibly find a voter who could be more detached, alien and out of touch with the American Heartland and Middle Class.

I'd be interested in seeing posts within the last, say, three years (or longer, probably) where I've really "white knighted" for Obama. There may be a couple here and there where I've agreed with him on a specific issue, but so what?

So what? Really. You don't think that there are Republican fundraisers sponsored by people who don't have a clue about the middle class? My point is that this is much ado about nothing.

Okay, VOR, let's put you to the test. A simple yes or no will suffice, but you can expound on anything you like. Did you agree with Obama on:
(1) Obama are
(2) immigration and border security
(3) his involvement in the Trayvon Martin case
I'll just give you those for now

But the Hope and Change you voted for?
Ahh, it's now republicans do it too!
You stupid idiots that put that POS in office for 8 years own all this garbage we are in now.

Really, it wasn't him sucking Obama balls. It was that guy ROV
Posted on 10/10/14 at 10:34 pm to VOR
Its just hilarious whenever an Obama supporter is outed as being an unamerican sack of shite, the chorus is "who cares".
Put a bunch of "who cares" together and you start to see a trend.

Calm down. You seem hysterical.
That said, I disagree with you on this point above. It is thread worthy and comment worthy.
There's an "unholy alliance", if you will, between the Democrat Party, Hollywood, the mainstream media and academia. All three support each other, work for each other and are quite influential, especially Hollywood.
So, when one of the wealthiest and most well established names in Hollywood publicly declares that Obama should have Dictatorial powers so that he could enact all laws that he deems necessary by simple Dictatorial Edict, then, it IS a big deal. A leading Hollywood figure calling for Dictatorship IS a big deal, no matter how much you'd like for us to ignore it.
THAT is why this is a big deal and worthy of scrutiny and criticism.
