just an FYI...it is not illegal to unmask individuals.

That depends. It isnt illegal to murder someone in certain circumstances either, but the justification must meet a specific predefined threshold. The default is that it shouldnt happen unless you can justify an exception.....not the other way around.

I have serious doubts Barr plays this card.

I’m more concerned Barr DOES play this card.

Because that would mean he’s chosen to inflict political damage instead of criminal damage.

These frickers are so dirty, and it's happening in real time.

This is the stuff you are supposed to read about 40 years later.

Not that it matters I understand your point, but In Louisiana, it's my understanding that the burden is on the State to prove the act of murder wasn't self defense.

The reason she unmasked is because the Obama administration felt misled by the United Arab Emirates, which had failed to mention that Zayed was coming to the United States. They wanted to know exactly what he was up to. That’s when they realized Zayed was being used as a back channel by the incoming Trump Administration.

Even if true (it likely isn’t) they were effectively spying on the transition

The only reason to do it would be to lay the groundwork for a future prosecution. He has made statements about the importance of transparency to the public, that they understand why certain actions take place and how all the pieces of the puzzle fit.

All I’m saying is she is the only one we know of for sure that unmasked Flynn. Her story is consistent with law even Republicans admit this. Before hearing Nunes was saying how she broke law and was going to jail. I’m just saying many people believe heads are going to roll and that may not be the case.

I haven’t see the Obama “smoking” gun yet. Doesn’t mean it won’t happen but until we hear Barr talk about Obama breaking law we just don’t know?

It is because of the legal presumption of innocence that is afforded to individuals which is the backbone of our legal system. One of the main reasons for doing this is to protect the individual against an unjust and abusive government. The same reason that there are protocols that must be followed regarding unmasking to protect civil liberties for example.

Also Rice is under oath saying she only EVER discussed unmasking with her intel briefer. No one else

I'm sure she'll get the Flynn treatment, right?

Right?

You think that public display of carrying the briefcase, the leaks to various media about new info going public, and news of the POTUS briefing was not priming the pump for an actual public disclosure? You think that would be allowed to happen if they were not already aware of what Barr was intending to do?

Yes. I think all of that might be just for show and not for substance.

How to Build a Gallows
Volunteers need to construct about 50 of these with which to line the National Mall.
(They are re-usable.)

Nothing will happen to Obama. He checks all the boxes. He's black, he's gay, he has a tranny husband, he's a life long America hating Communist and a x POTUS.
