Perry is a hack who went after another hack, whose allies are now retaliating. Will it stick? Who knows, but it's shitty politics all the way around.

Perry may be a hack. But he's not the one who got arrested for DUI. She should have resigned.

Not really feeling the reflexive LOL TRAVIS COUNTY white knighting. I mean, where should a corruption indictment against a sitting governor be handed down?

Ronnie Earle has been retired for a while now.

But the District Attorney who got arrested for DUI is a fine upstanding public servant, right?

Ah I remember her now. Didn't she make some pretty intimidating remarks to the arresting officers that night? Pulling the do you know who I am card and saying they were going to lose their jobs? Probably a good thing she wasn't given millions in state funds.

Agree, but if what I saw on CNN is accurate, this is a bogus indictment. It's retaliation for trying to force out a district attorney who should have automatically lost her job anyway.

The people responsible for the indictment need to be criminally charged with intimidation. And the R's need to spin this as "Democrats want to have drunk drivers enforcing the law".

I'd order the Attorney General of Texas to present the same charge to the grand jury first thing Monday morning and indict the Travis County DA.

Yea Texas is awful. Sucks living in the best state to live and work in. Wish I could go back to the land of corruption free government that is Louisiana.

Maybe don't hitch your wagon to a bogus indictment brought about by the pals of the DA who was arrested for a dui and refused to give up her government job.

Gotta love the timing of this. National media is going to run with it big time.
