That case could have gone either way. Remember, the first vote that the jury took was split 50/50, but the foreman was on Zimmerman's side. The foreman had the strongest and most persuasive personality and was able to bring the others over to her side. If the strongest personality had been on Trayvon's side, the outcome could have been totally different, and that's why jury selection is so important in these sort of cases.
