The thread is not going as planned for Rex…that is what I meant, exactly.

You tee'd it up for the kick Rex.

I think he probably meant that this governor being a Democrat has left him in a tough spot and he has chosen the path of political expediency by pretty much siding with the "Hands up, Don't shoot" crowd.

I really can't recall a more vile case of pandering.

A man's life is at stake here, and despite the fact that Wilson hasn't even been charged and that the evidence is pointing to self-defense... and that Nixon has totally mishandled everything... well, you get my drift.

Exactly, what was your plan?

And it is obvious a politician is doing what they do best…pander for the votes.

rex i completely agree with you. and the LG was really blasting him today on hannity. he's never had a conversation with nixon since he's been governor. that is just insane.

a governor should never take a partisan side with a situation like this. TALK ABOUT A TAINTED INVESTIGATION NOW..WOW!!

Damn, there is actually hope for you Rex. I just hope this isn't a one time thing. I hope your finally realizing that both sides are fricking us all and don't give a shite about anybody. The only thing they care about is lining their own pockets and using the masses to further this agenda. We need to take this country back from the career politicians.

How can there be a fair trial within the state of Missouri when the governor has already prejudged the case publicly?

this reminds me of when obama came out and bashed those cops a few years ago. you would think every high up politician would have learned not to do that after the backlash the president got for that.

how does one pick the GJ, do you get something in the mail like usual and then get vetted by both sides?

I agree. Especially disappointing considering Nixon's long previous tenure as DA.

I have to say, if there are LEGITIMATE and FACT BASED questions as to Wilson's actions at this stage, then they should be addressed in the courts.

However, the calls by activists for a defacto lynching of Wilson under these circumstances are beyond disturbing. Especially considering the POV they claim to represent. I have a huge problem with divisive incendiaries like Sharpton and Jackson receiving positive coverage in this instance after being lauded for unrepentant support of proven racist liars in the past.

The "D" is a dead give-away on the asswipe part ... but, regardless of what letter would be behind this dude's name ... he just seems like a total douche asswipe.

In other words ... he was probably an asswipe long before he was ever a Democrat.

Any public official that doesn't maintain impartiality and just say they are waiting on the facts has no business being a public official, IMHO. It is pandering in it's most deplorable form.

I agree with this.
