I think pretty much anyone would have beaten trump besides Hillary, and Hillary would have beaten anyone but trump. It was the perfect kryptonite.

I dunno about that. Biden ran for POTUS twice and got about as many votes as Palin did when she ran for mayor of Wasilla.
Also, the blue wall collapsed in part because of the massive premium increases in PA, WI, and MI. Biden would have been even more closely tied to that and to the Rust Belt economic decline.

Where did this idea that Joe Biden is universally popular come from? After year one of Obama's presidency, they made sure he was never heard from. Why? Because the dude is the biggest fricking moron in the government.
Joe Biden made Melania Trump's plagiarism look like child's play. He finished "in the top half of his law school class" if you consider 76 out of 85 the top half.
