Personally, I don't see any reason for the government to spend tax dollars helping ANYONE have children. But if it chooses to do so, it must do so "equally."
I’m sure your smart enough to know there are certain people that do not pass screening for adoption. Not having a mom in the household should 100% be red flagged as it deprives from the child they are trying to help. We don’t treat pedos and felons the same in the process either.

Why is more people trying to adopt children a problem?
Posted on 6/23/23 at 12:42 pm to djmed
definition of family
Gays are not a family so they dont have higher associated costs.

The goal of adoption isn't so that two grown arse men can cosplay Leave it to Beaver

Gay couples were not intended to start families.

Better to leave them in the system with no parents than 2?

Yeah fricking right. I know two gay dudes that adopted two kids and get a few thousand dollars each month for adopting them. They're living it up, just bought a condo on the beach.

Just when you think these people couldn’t be any dumber, they go and headline an article like this…. My God! Of Course it’s harder to start a family if you are gay, cause you can’t naturally reproduce… I’m amazed actually. Who ever wrote this won’t be embarrassed, as it’s a victimhood cry for attention, but damn….

Good. Gay couples should not be allowed to have a family.

Bit of a derail, but why? If all parties agree, why should the government get involved and "limit" it? (Assuming no coercion and no minors, obviously)
Or are you acknowledging that a few hetero-couples will be negatively-impacted and are willing to accept that side-effect in order to deny access to homo-couples (for whom it is essentially the only way to have kids who share your genetics).
I believe it's a very perilous slope for humanity where people are increasingly opting to distance themselves from the human procreation process by contracting the bulk of it out to others. And of course, the woman who carries the child is ultimately (usually) entirely removed from the future life of the child. I think that's treading in very dangerous waters.
I'm not completely against surrogacy, I'm in particular open to its merits when involving family/friends. And I 100%, genuinely grieve for the women who cannot carry children. But I think we're already seeing it slip into very questionable territory. It's more and more a practice of the wealthy exploiting young women (gay and not). I don't think it's good for the culture, the child, or the exploited woman.
And yes, I'm certainly concerned about the use of surrogates for gay couples, but it's not limited to that.

Bret Shuford and Stephen Hanna knew from early on in their relationship they wanted to raise a child together. But the married couple didn't think a biological child was a possibility.
Like they weren't sure, but they didn't think it was possible, but wouldn't fully rule it out!

If you can’t afford to adopt a child you shouldn’t be able to have one!!

Nope but they should be moved to the back of the line

They want to make adoption easier?

Probably the one who handed out the biological equipment that precludes it

You think God would prefer kids stay in foster care than go to someone who would love and take care of them?

Should not be legal.

I genuinely don't know the answer to whether God would want a kind gay couple to become the "dads" of a child without parents. I suspect not, as I think living as a gay couple in a gay relationship is sinful, and I don't think that should be modeled for children. But I don't know with certainty, of course.
And I think it's a separate question of whether, for example, it would be permissible for a celibate gay man to adopt.
But anyway, the question was about intent and design (or that's how I interpreted it), and obviously two men in a romantic relationship aren't "designed" to have children.
