The DNI is Dan Coats, who I think is a Pence guy? I haven't read much about him. He was confirmed two weeks ago.

That's the price we're going to have to pay to get to the bottom of this. I am sick of this excuse that it's "national security" whenever the government wants to cover up its crimes. As Comey said, this case is "special" and in the public interest, so it's going to require that things be done differently than they usually are.
I think it is perfectly possible to reveal the contents of these intercepts without revealing our sources and methods. Things can be redacted to protect that information. The NSA really only cares about that anyway (the technology we use and how we do it). Of course revealing WHO we spied on might compromise some current operations, but I think that can be handled as well.
I mean at this point there isn't a human being in the world that doesn't know that if you talk about it on the phone (or text) the NSA is listening. The Russians know it and have known it for a long time. It's amazing that we even have any SIGINT on Russia at all after the Snowden leaks.

Thanks. Yeah, you'll get down votes. CTH has some good stuff that should cause people to think. I read parts of it on occasion. Same reason I often times turn on CNN and MSNBC. I think it's good to get as much insight as possible on all views if for no other reason than to make the attempt to understand both extremes.

During the primaries they were so full of hate here on the polly board for CTH. Including some that are suddenly on team Trump because they saw it all along.
After Trump won and it was so clear that the GOPe and DNC were so against Trump. (McCain, Kasich, et al showed their true colors) I posted a thread with a CTH article and dared anyone to disprove CTH and stated how they nailed everything-spot-on. There were crickets. Now it's suddenly cool for NT74 and his shitty band lol to diss the treehouse.
Some of CTH's articles on Ocare replacement were strange and confusing but they are generally spot on.

Totally agree. I usually turn CNN on for the lols. Most of the time they are so full of shite.
