I'm MAGA all the way... BUT, I don't believe "more legislation" for the sake of more legislation is a good thing whatsoever. Laws should be negotiated, well-thought, and hard to pass (due to compromise).

Part of our issues is that we pass laws so that some Legislator can go home and say, "I proposed the XYZ bill..." Well, as a Conservative, I might be more happy if you are the type that kills or blocks crappy law rather than passing law on top of law on top of law.
