Finally . . . bill introduced to stop neighborhood "diversification"

bout time . . . let's hope it goes through quickly

Legislation has been introduced in Congress to defund and overturn a controversial Obama administration decree from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to transform and “diversify” American neighborhoods under the direction of Big Brother. The new bill would also reverse the attempted unconstitutional usurpation of power over local zoning decisions by the federal government and the unelected regional authorities charged with managing the transformation. And the measure would end a “geospatial database” mandated under the scheme to track the racial and income composition of each area, a key element of the scheme to redistribute people based on their melanin content and earnings. The Obama administration's race-obsessed decree, known as the “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing” (AFFH) rule, became a lightning rod for criticism by conservatives and constitutionalists last year. A coalition of Republican lawmakers, facing outrage among their constituents, tried to defund the unconstitutional scheme while Obama was still in office. However, establishment Republicans quietly worked behind the scenes to betray conservatives by supporting Obama's radical power grab and handing even more tax money to Obama's HUD. With those establishment lawmakers still in power, passage of the new bill remains far from assured, even with Trump in the White House, Ben Carson at HUD, and the GOP in control of both houses of Congress. But prospects are better than before, analysts say.

Sanity prevails. Another reason to thank our lucky stars Hillary did not get elected.

Truth. Hope this passes.

I approve of this bill because if I have my druthers, I'd mostly want to live around white and Asian people. Half-white half-Asian chicas are pleasant to look at.

There are probably thousands of policy examples like in the OP that were halted by Hillary losing.

Or maybe they just want their kids to get a quality education?
No, perish the thought. It can't be anything other than racism.

One of the more bizarre progressive initiatives under Obama

No, it's "code" for the grades the schools put out. Totally coincidental, all those schools aren't diversified.

Carson should fine out which politicians supported this idea and then move lower income housing into their neighborhoods. I bet support for this legislation would decline rapidly.

Why do they need to pass a law to do this?
Since this (if I am reading it correctly) was an Obama executive order, couldn't Trump just issue a different executive order?

This was definitely one of Obama's more radical social agendas. It was nothing more than a "frick upper middle class white people" bill disguised as moral quest.

Kind of makes sense, doesn't it?
A mega-successful businessman is focused on real problems, while the community agitating Mr. 'You didn't build that' was only worried about promoting false narratives & promulgating worthless social engineering projects.

So, from what I could tell from the lunatic writing the story you linked, the Obama regulation called for tracking data on racial and economic segregation. The lunatics on the site apparently speculated that Obama would then send in tanks and guns and force white people out of their homes so that black people could move in, but obviously didn't cite anything indicating that the rule contained ANYTHING that actually dictated where people could live. It apparently tracked data. That's it.
Maybe it did more, but since you linked such a ridiculously stupid source that didn't cite the actual rule or specify what it actually did, rather only wildly speculated at what the nasty gubmint might do in the future after collecting this data, we don't know.
My god you alt-rights are fricking insane.
