How are they shady? They give out free health care and rubbers? You're stretching there.

Because in the front of every planned parenthood facility is a live oak three. :rimshot:

Seriously, they claim to be about "women's health". But we all know why they exist, abortions.

shrug.

I have learned that pointing out that less then 10 percent of planned parenthood's services goes to abortion and that no federal money is every used for abortion doesn't matter.

Doesn't fit the narrative here...so I'll go with emotion :D

Who came up with that graph?

How do they define "Planned Parenthood Affiliate Health Centers?" What if a local hospital that does not perform abortions is considered an "affiliate?" Wouldn't that skew the percentages as opposed to counting just Planned Parenthood centers?

Are the percentages by dollar amounts or time?

There are over a million abortions performed each year in the U. S. If PP isn't doing very many, then who is?

Planned Parenthood’s services extend well beyond help with mammograms. The organization also provides abortions, which draws the ire of social conservatives. But the that procedure made up only 3 percent of Planned Parenthood’s services in 2010, according to data from the group.

Planned Parenthood’s top five services in 2010 were as follows:

Testing for sexually-transmitted infections: 3.6 million

Contraception: 2.2 million

Emergency contraception: 1.5 million

Pregnancy tests: 1.1 million

Pap tests: .8 million

No Planned Parenthood affiliate even holds the licenses necessary under federal law to perform mammograms.

Planned Parenthood is responsible for about 30% of US abortions annually.
Those numbers are escalating at a time concomitant national rates are declining.

Planned Parenthood receives nearly 50% percent of its revenues via taxpayer-funded government sources.
Last year, excess revenues approached $90 million with net assets exceeding $1.2 billion.

Still waiting for someone to show me how number 1 is caused by number 2.

Fact is, not a single one of you can show me proof, (not emotion, proof) that a single federal dollar went to a single abortion.

Does planned parent hood provide abortions. You bet your arse it does and I am happy that women have a place to go to get abortions should they choose that.

But planned parenthoods provide a hell of a lot more then just abortions.

It's fun to watch social conservatives get their dicks all tied up in this.

Investigations found seven Planned Parenthood clinics in four different states were willing to aid and abet the sex-trafficking of minor girls by supplying confidential birth control, STD testing, and secret abortions to underage girls and their traffickers.

Planned Parenthood fraud has been documented by audits in several states. These include failure to meet medical standards and licensing requirements, violations of health and safety codes, improper disposal of medical waste and patient records, Medicaid fraud, violations of late-term abortion restrictions, criminal battery, and criminal and civil liability in the deaths of patients. Video footage recorded at Planned Parenthood affiliates by Live Action shows Planned Parenthood employees recommending that minors patronize abortion facilities that may be willing to violate state laws.

Can you show me any evidence of Planned Parenthood facilities' licensure to perform mammograms?

Taxpayer funds should not be used for any of this crap anyway. Roads, police force, court system, and national defense. Nothing else.

Is it really so hard to avoid having sex if you can't handle the responsibility of a child? The government should not subsidize the stupidity and lack of responsibility of its citizens. My tax dollars should not provide a free pass for these people to act without consequence.

They aren't.

We are talking about all the things they do preform...despite Obama's pre election talking points, mammograms isn't one of them.
