Hm. Never thought of that but I guess it's possible. Only political boards I know of are this one and DU, and id think the Intel community would be more interested in DU. But anything is possible.

LAT experienced much worse treatment IRL after someone (Afreaux) did something similar to him.
Being a board veteran and knowing a lot of old timers that post here IRL, this happens more often than you would think. I've debated often changing my name and starting over. This board is nothing but a troll fest now anyway.

So someone could be 'stalking' the guy in the OP?
I try to limit personal info about myself here as I want to remain anonymous.
A few times I have given more info about myself than I really think I should have.
On another site, I revealed some info about myself over the course of several years. I sometimes got into heated exchanges with several other board members.
As a result some fool took it on himself to 'stalk' me for a while. He even found out where I lived but nothing ever came from it.
I am an average size guy, 5'10" about 210 lbs. I was in the military several years ago and know how to defend myself more than enough and even can go on the offensive if need be, I learned some pretty wicked stuff while I served.
I have family to think about amoung other things, as I am sure the OP does as well. So I have become somewhat 'passive' in my approach, especially on a message board & forget stuff like Facebook, Twitter...
Sometimes its best just to refrain for a while from message boards, Facebook, twitter, snapchat, newsfeeds.. and just relax for a while and enjoy life.

Yeah I gave up the pretense of anonymity when I was stationed in Missouri. How many black conservative Aggies are in that state? Odds were very low I'd have even able to hide behind a screen name even if I wanted to, and I'm too lazy to run an alternative account
