So presumably the postal code for West California would be WC.

Seems fitting.

You know it's true. I did a job in El Cajon at night. That place is the gateway to tweakerland

I like Farage but he's going too far here. I'm sure the Brits wouldn't appreciate it if an American was trying to raise money to help divide Cornwall.

To be fair to Farage a current leader of the House Republicans spent much of the 80s raising money for a terrorist group bombing Farage's homeland.

I love the idea of them splitting in two. I hope it happens. However, I don't like foreigners stepping in to affect these types of things. Big Farage fan but he is overstepping his bounds here

This may not be so far fetched. Given the opportunity to vote to leave the liberals behind, many in the east areas might be glad to get away. It has happened before (Virginia/West Virginia) and could happen again. I think this has much greater potential than secession.

If by funny you mean watching East California die, then sure. Hilarious.

I think it's more likely you'd see North and South California before East and West.

Texas has the right to break up into as many as 5 states per the 1845 agreement when we joined the US. California, Oregon, and Washington all have had similar movements to break in half because the coastal area is so different than the rest of the state and effectively the rural areas have no political power anymore.
