I'm about as right wing as you are.

Do you have the same outrage at the litany of criminals the NFL employs? I bet not, proving that to you and your ilk kneeling for the national anthem is a worse crime than assaulting your wife.

I'm not big into pro sports much anyway. And there are a shitload of pieces of shite in the NFL. Generally, I watch the super bowl and that's only because I'm at a party.

Again, as I said earlier, Kaep wanted attention and he got it and now I guess he's sad about it. BOO HOO.

The owners are boycotting him.

Its about money, not football.

He can still run like a gazelle and hes at least as good a passer as 15 other guys in the nfl.

Like someone said it's all about the money. It's not personal. They realize that he is not worth the risk in losing sponsors or fans. His talent doesn't cover his baggage as I've said.

But you and others are too dense to realize this and want to blame everything on 'racist heartless conservative white males!!!!'

You and your ilk lost the election.

That makes you and your ilk "losers".

What I find fascinating is that anyone watches any of their shite. You are paying their salaries when you do

I turn on ESPN to watch an active ball game other than that I don't know they exist. America will be saved by Capitalism if we simply employ it.

Has anyone posted his stats yet?

If fans tune out, its their problem. Only thing that should matter is wins and losses

To the owners?

The players say it themselves all the time 'it's a business'.

That's true for them, management and the owners.

No, the only thing that matters is making sure fans continue to spend money to watch the team play and buy their merchandise.

Which is why Kaep was shite-canned.

Fans "tuning out" hurts the owner's bottom line.

Since 2014 Kaepernick has lost far more than he has won. He is wildly inconsistent and has been almost from the stat of his pro career. He can have a very good game followed up with a game that does not make him CFL back up material. The 49 ers have never been totally sold on him and his "Big" contract reflects that if you read into it...it's very much pay as you go, if you do good. When you are the stating QB in the NFL and you take a knee during the national anthem, you call attention to yourself...Kaep did just that.

Ali absolutely wanted to call attention to himself....and I don't blame him. He was heavyweight champ and then the government wanted to draft him to go to a crappy place to fight a very crappy war that was being fought in an even crappier manner. He did not want his arse shot off for no good reason and LBJ and even Nixon could not tell us what the hell was at stake for the average American in that war...it was not even good ole revenge for something

I have no problem with companies taking their money out of controversial places/positions.

Companies (and NFL teams are companies) don't do anything that doesn't have a profit/money motive.

Eh, NFL GMs have a long track record of having a worse version of their starter as a backup. Kaep needs to have an entire offense changed to fit his play style, and there are just not a lot of teams willing to do that for a backup.

Jesus Christ man, you think this is league wide collusion as in owners and GMs are talking to each other and saying 'hey don't sign that guy'.

How is it unplausible? The owners make money TOGETHER. Kaep playing away on the road could effect the home teams revenue.

Half of the Gms already leaked their personal opinions and said they hated him.

So much for stick to sports

That's even dumber than saying Trump inspired the terror attack yesterday by defending himself from an endless stream of bullshite attacks and conspiracy theories.
