This is a legit story.
Hell, let's compare this low-level assistant against Debbie Wasserman-Shultz...
Further in terms of news-worthiness... would you consider this "story" more or less important than... say... the fact that the Obamacare website backend STILL is not complete and many operations are still being done manually by hand?

There are 435 of them. She's dumb and tacky, but there are a lot of comparisons that can be made to show how ridiculous the media is on stuff like this (Gruber, attacks on the Palins, whatever).
Glad she's gone, she knows we get extra attention on things like this and should have known better than to go on a petty rant.

I wonder how many people get fired or have to resign for doing something "tacky" on a regular basis.
Typically ... one would think that "tacky" would require a simple apology.

(UPDATE: She's resigning)
Calling out a 13 year old is pure stupidity.

Eh, it's tacky and incompetence. She's a Comms director. You can't have a spokesperson saying dumb stuff on social media.
It's not that big a deal anyway. People bounce all over the place on the hill, she'll probably be fine.

So NBC is Lauten-Free?

She's just a symptom of the larger problem.
But she resigned so it should be over.
On to the next one

Pathetic that she apologized and is resigning. Doesn't anybody have the spine to stand by what they say any longer?

Dear Sasha and Malia, I get your both in those awful teen years but you're a part of the First Family. Try showing a little class. At least respect the part you play. Then again, your mother and father don't respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I'm guessing you're coming up a little short in the 'good role model' department. Dress like you deserve respect, not a spot in a bar."
I posted this truth on my twitter feed

Ar you expecting the mainstream media to treat this like Watergate or something? Ask a want. He's the one that cares.
Apparently they are. It's on page one of Yahoo.com and it's on the UK Daily Mail. Going extreme MSM. Over nothing.

Benghazi, IRS targeting, Fast and Furious, etc, etc, etc....are those not REAL stories?

Nope. You can have the man that wrote Obamacare go out there and repeatedly call the American people stupid and it's no big deal but let some congressional staffer say something about Obama's girls on facebook and it's a major scandal.

Our self-proclaimed "independents" (no need to call them out, you know who The Usual Suspects are) seem to have grown more shrill since the midterms.

You know what's worse than the comments? That this is the lead story on USA Today...

quote:Exactly. Fox News is sooooo biased. They probably won't devote wall-to-wall coverage on to this staffer's off-handed Facebook post. Dumbasses will probably talk about Obamacare. Like that's important or something. Republican puppets!
