20 years ago, under the administration of a Democrat president, a young illegal alien, Elian Gonzales was taken by gunpoint by the government and later, deported.
Now, Democrat administrations aid illegals in escaping border guards and immigration authorities.
How times have changed!

We have to choose our deportations of illegals strategically,

The Marxist Democrats just didn't want Fidel Castro to look bad. They loved themselves some Fidel Castro.

Just look how staged that photo is and we fell for it at the time.

I made some of the first memes before they were memes on this.

Who would have ever thought a Clinton and democrats kicking out a baby to communist Cuba by gunpoint?

He comes from a Cuban family. Cuban's in southern Florida vote Republican for the most part.

That's why Democrat leaders deported him. He wouldn't have been a reliable vote and it sent a message for other Cubans to not come to Florida.

Every time I see that picture, I have to do a double take to make sure that agent isn’t Detective Sipowicz.

In the Gonzales situation you had a father who was demanding the return of his child....a court ruled he should be returned.....it wasn't a political situation although the diehard anti-Castro people wanted to make it one.

Now Democrats have early morning raids by swat to kick down doors of Trump associates who are already fully cooperating with the government.

I know, it was such a crock. Why would a professional photographer be right there to snap a close up of a supposed clandestine raid?

If you look at where the kids eyes and the fathers eyes are focused, they don't seem to be looking at the guy with the gun.
Just my opinion.

Seeing how he joined the Communist Party later on in life I think he would have made a great Democrat.

It wasn’t political? How many time do you see SWAT involved in a custody battle over an illegal?!

Have you every known someone to live in a communist country and not be a member of the communist party?

Once they speak up against the communists leadership they are dead or they've escaped. Gonzales lives in Cuba now. I'm sure it's better to say you support the communist leadership in Cuba than die.

i recall "someone" did a puff piece on him a few years ago to show how he was doing and he was in the army and completely brainwashed to hate america and said he and his family were doing well and happy.

well ya, you are their dancing monkey to show communism is great so they are going to set you up for a good life for PR purposes. strangely no one else in his family was allowed to be interviewed or even spoken to

This such tripe.

The kid's dad was still alive, in Cuba. He had to go back.

It should never have become the shitshow that it did, and the photo was just stupid.
