He's talking about another doctor who gave hydroxychloroquine to 1,000 patients ALREADY IN THE HOSPITAL WITH COVID-19.
Out of 1,000 only 7 died.

I like this guy. I know he’s a TV doc but what he says makes sense. The CDC/Deep Staters not going to like his commentary.

I want to know if they’re using it on Boris Johnson. I feel like that would essentially settle the debate.

That’s how Dr. Oz has always been, he never shows political bias not even sure which way he leans.

I seldom watch television, and my best guess on him was that he was probably a typical media doctor. But imo he's been solid regarding CV-19 analysis.
PS - I think Dr. Birx is okay, but she and Faucci are just not gungho about trying hydroxychloroquine. I agree with Dr. Oz; we don't have time for a long, drawn out clinical trial.

I didn’t know till recently. I just thought he was a charming guy that had an MD who found his way into TV.
I mean it’s no BA from Appalachian State like yours truly but, you know, not everyone can be so blessed.

This has nothing to do with whether the treatment is effective or not, but considering all of the scam products he’s peddled Dr Oz is probably the worst person to endorse it.

What struck me was he talked to a rheumatologist who treats multiple Lupus patients with this drug and said among his group of doctors they all say that the media is overblowing the side of effects. Concerns about heart issues and taking EKGs are not even part of the treatment with this drug.
