Everyone is a hypocrite to one degree or another. It comes with being human.
What bothers me is how people are surprised when they see someone acting hypocritically. I'd be far less worried about hypocrisy if repentance was part of everyone's daily routine.

Why would it bother me any more for him than it does for any other politician? 
If you, by some chance, think he's special in this regard, I would think you're a hypocrite.

It all adds up. The hypocrisy of claiming he could negotiate for mexicans to pay for the wall and then saying we have to do it. That bugs me more than his playing golf.

The thing that sucks about politics is that everyone is a hypocrite. Absolutely everyone. That's why it's such an ugly game.

Pretty sure the difference he was selling about himself versus normal politicians was that he doesn't take special interest and lobbyist money in trade for political favor. That he will actually do what he feels is best for the country not what he's being given money to be in favor of. That was the difference. There's not a person alive who isn't a hypocrite to some extent or the other.
