What a sad state of affairs if he does.

He will because he's the only Dem anyone knows in a field with a bunch of Republicans. He doesn't have a shot in hell in the runoff.

EWE might make the run-off but only because republicans will split the vote many ways.

He has no chance of actually winning the election, though.

It will be a shame on this state if so. That piece of shite needs to go away for good.

i honestly believe that if EWE had not been governor, Louisiana would be in a much better situation right now. i think he set the state back 20 years. thankfully, we've made great strides recently.

I remember him campaigning on campus during the '83 election. He had free beer and jambalaya. Dave Treen did not.

He will make the runoff and then will get a lot of press.

The press will help the D turnout but I don't think he will win but he will help Mary.

Fact - Buddy Roemer used to cruise the Waffle House and Books-a-million near College Dr. and I-10 looking for babes. I know a couple of women who he hit on at those locations.

He's pretty much a sure bet to make the runoff. With such a crowded field, I'm thinking 27-28 should get him in, and there are that many democrats/stupid people out there where he will hit that number.

There are two things that will happen:

1) Him running will help Mary, and vice versa, as far as turnout in the runoff. He won't win the runoff, but he'll turn out Dem votes that might stay home otherwise.

2) He'll get a ton of national press, which he will certainly enjoy.

At what point is someone a disgrace and unelectable?
