It makes zero sense. Why would the government destroy 3 buildings just to eliminate some info they already had access to? Imagine if someone had copied the data! Plot foiled!

For the 10000th time, our government was not the mastermind behind it

Foreign intelligence agencies were. Maybe a handful of CIA.

The only thing that has been done is providing "plausible explanations." Very little from the so called conspiracies has been debunked or proven to not have happened. Just because there is a plausible explanation doesn't mean it is the right explanation.

Sandy Hook

You could start a completely separate thread to outline why the narrative of Sandy Hook doesn't add up

On the passport surviving

I can't speak to much of what went on in NYC after the attack because I wasn't there. However I can tell you somethings that survived the giant fire ball at the pentagon.

The guy that was flying the plane was found nestled up to a concrete tower. What was left of him was still strapped into the pilots chair.

He had wrapped himself in white linen strips under his clothes, kinda like a mummy.

The thin cotton survived the fire. His passport was in his back pocket.

I saw this with my own eyes.

The planes were remote controlled

The passengers were dropped off at Stewart Air Force Base, a privatized airport, owned by Ronald Lauder. Both flights 175 and 11 converged over this AFB. Oddly enough Ronald Lauder lobbied for the privitization of the World Trade Center. Hmmmm.

The theory is that passenger Daniel Lewin took over the plane, landed it at Stewart Air Force base where it was swapped for a remote control drone

Who was Daniel Lewin? A Sayeret Matkal agent who specialized in anti-hijack takovers and assassinations

The truth hurts I guess

Follow the money and you will find out who organized 9/11

Was it the Reptillians, the Illuminati, or the Queen of England? Personally I'm betting on the National Dairy Council or the Rotary Club of Tupelo.

My point is twofold. First very few people in here and qualified to assess which of two Structural Engineers who disagree are correct. Second it isn't actually necessary to even have that debate. Most of the conspiracy theorist have to believe such silly stuff that they barely warrant my attention. In either case I'm just amused at how many people read a few things and then try to pass themselves off as having in-depth knowledge of how buildings collapse

I am a structural engineer who used to build steel framed buildings for a living. The "jet fuel can't melt steel beams" people are simply retarded. As said many many times, steel weakens enough to fail long before it melts, and will do so at temperatures it can be exposed to during fires of routine office materials. That's why steel members are equipped with fireproofing.

In the case of the Twin Towers, said fireproofing would have been partially stripped by the planes crashing into them. This would expose enough steel to the fire to weaken the steel significantly to trigger a collapse.

I always thought the wargames exercises going at the same time could have been the opening to pull away fighter response if the government did want the hijackers to get through.

Well Cheney had anti-aircraft defenses around the Pentagon/Washington DC area shutdown...

and then ordered the stand-down of a USAF pilot that could've intercepted the "plane" that hit the Pentagon

Its the Rotary Club of Tupelo I tell you. No one can fully grasp their malignant influence on the world.

Even when I get sucked into some of the conspiracy angles, the one thing holding the official story together is the phone calls. You'd have to argue those are fakes if this was a government operation or that the people making the calls were impostors or something. I can't go that far.

Exactly! Might want to take a look at that again, bud. It was impossible for those calls to be made at the altitude they were at according to the story we're told, and that's a fact.

One of the passengers even whispered "it's a frame" before hanging up with her husband.

dude I'm not even remotely disagreeing with you. I'm only pointing out that I don't need all of that to know the conspiracy theories are stupid. They all fall the f*** apart the second you start thinking about why it would have been done the way they describe

Threads like this are why TX tiger avoids ever taking an actual position.
My 20-plus page thread on 9/11 says otherwise.

I don't know why people can't just unconditionally believe the trustworthy mainstream media and our benevolent government.

Neither would have any reason to ever fake news or information. They think too much of us, and care far too much for us to ever do anything like that.

Yeah, because that's the only implication made by truthers.
