It did $9 million in sales, domestically, and added $900k worldwide.

Usually, dogs at the box office don't win any awards.

I tend to not like the movies that win Oscars and other awards as much as ones that the critics shite on. Seems today if you don't award the prize to some woke bullshite movie everyone goes nuts.

So essentially if others don't share her opinion of herself and her work they're racist. Here's your participation trophy you ignorant bitch. This is yet another reason racism really only moves the needle for a certain segment of black america and highly educated white females that have been brainwashed to believe they're the reparation all those black men deserve. Racism is a farce.

Can't be that her "project" wasn't any good. Had to be racism.

The subject was good and worthy... Movie should have been epic and intense...

The movie was not close to epic and intense... The acting was not great and most of that had to do with production and direction...

Also, seemed the story was enough without having to add to it...

I was disappointed and quite frankly, the director should be shamed for what was done here...

However, it was wypipo fault she got snubbed...

It’s literally the exact opposite.

“We live in a world and work in industries that are so aggressively committed to upholding whiteness and perpetuating an unabashed misogyny towards Black women,” Chukwu posted on Instagram.

She continued, “And alas. I am forever in gratitude for the greatest lesson of my life – regardless of any challenges or obstacles, I will always have the power to cultivate my own joy, and it is this joy that will continue to be one of my greatest forms of resistance.”

whose assumption was it that it would be a shoe-in for an Oscar nomination?

Given how most Oscars have been handed out the last 20 years, I can understand why she believes she is entitled to recognition.

If she really believes black women have it rough, perhaps she should read up on affirmative action hires like Kamala Harris, Ketanji Brown Jackson and Karinne Jean Pierre.

Her first statement negates the second. Poor whiny bitch.

I straight up forgot this movie was even made.

Black trauma stories are played, anyways. No need to cinematically exhume Till just for Oscar bait.

If a movie is good, I watch it. I don’t check to see what color or gender the director is, nor do I care what color or gender the actors are.
Well, truthfully, I've avoided Black Panther II. I just don't care for a movie, with that many POC's... ALL faking an African accent.

I don't watch Tom Cruise, either, with one of the worst German accents ever, either

Jamie Lee Curtis hung sick pedo art so she was finally rewarded with a nom.

This virtue signaling wasn't cool at the moment.

Get over yourself! Chinonye Chukwu,Nigerian-American film director.

Dear Ms Chukwu,

Maybe you addressed an important historical event, but just did not make an exceptional film.

And probably cost $20-25m to make.

Racism doesn't sell as much as these racist race baiters think. Ie... Twitter outrage from a couple years back isn't as good of indicator as they want to think think it was.
