I lose my health insurance in 7 days, and thanks to obamacare I will be forgoing health insurance for the next few years unless I get it through work. Simply isn't worth me spending thousands a year for a plan I won't use. If only I could have a catastrophic plan that doesn't include maternity care, birth control etc like I would have been able to in the past. Oh well.
Heres to hoping I don't get sick or in an accident any time soon.

Health insurance would be my number 2 line item a month behind rent. I haven't been sick in ages. Healthy, don't smoke cigarettes, hardly ever drink anymore. Why should I be paying over 200 a month for health care?
I'm going in on Monday to get caught up on shots and get one final checkup before I get kicked off health insurance.

I want to keep my doctor.
I want to keep my "original" health care plan.
I don't want $2,500.00 deductibles.
I am still waiting on that $2,500.00 reduction in costs considering my premiums have risen ALOT since 2009.
I want ALL government employees, especially Congress, to have to choose the same plans the people of America have to choose.
That's a start. How far should we go?

How about we let the free market open back up and give us back some real choices.
Before that shitshow refered to as Obamacare kicked in my personal policy for a family of 5 was only 450 monthly. Then it jumps following year to 1400.. then 2300.. then the company leaves Louisiana altogether leaving me high and dry. I'm a business owner and it's hit me pretty hard. So a real plan would kick that shitty excuse for healthcare the the curb and let insurance companies open back up.

Yeah I've been looking. That's probably going to be what I end up doing down the road in a few months once I get all my ducks in a row. Right now though, I need every damn cent I make. I have zero free cash to pay for shite like health insurance when I'm perfectly healthy.
