This is one of those threads that makes me think Toddy is just an alter for somebody that likes to post ridiculous stuff from the left for the reaction. There's no way a thinking adult would really be encouraged by these two elections.

I think the next Screen Actors Guild election will really tell us how the country is moving.

You ought to know better than to do this, Toddy. Trump is not the traditional Social Conservative that you find offensive as (perceived, in many instances) soft Religious bigotry. Nor does he have any inclination toward Racial bias (which the Prog Left worships).

Gay and Black groups/individuals really ought to consider getting on board with the next 8 years of what will be Trump's effective Policy for both Groups. Special treatment...no; fair and just, merited treatment under Law and in the competitive Market...for sure. And the latter is far more apt to bring National unity and prosperity than the divisive and grievance-based politics of Progressive Ideology.

I almost feel sorry for democrats because they have been looking for a sign, any sign whatsoever no matter how small, of the tides turning in their favor. This is probably the best they've seen in the past year and it still amounts to nothing. Even the Super Bowl forsook them.

The Overton window has shifted. Maybe it is time to join us on the right side of history.

Two districts that voted for Donald Trump in last year’s presidential election selected Democrats for state legislature seats in New York and New Hampshire on Tuesday night.

Are seriously having to use special elections for the state legislature to make it look like your side has some daylight at the end of the tunnel? That is beyond pathetic.

Only 80+ seats to go in order to get the House Majority.

Not even. These are state legislature seats.
