You know things are terrible for the Dems when this is the only thing they can toot their horn over

This may be the saddest thing I have ever seen. This is a final stage of melt I think. You are celebrating Dems winning seats in state houses.

What is next, celebrating a Democrat win on a local school board?

State elections are funny like that. Alabama was considered a "red state" even though our state house was majority dem from reconstruction to 2010.

This probably isn't the win a lot of dems believe it to be but they'll take anything at this point.

State assemblies in the north? Give me a fricking break. Soon you'll be posting about Democrats beating Republicans in alderman races in neighborhoods that Trump carried.

No.. no.. it's going to be a wave election next year... I read it here just yesterday. Based upon a poll taken for a Georgia election that will happen in June.

This really is as pathetic as it gets. Yeah, two seats in a state assembly.

Today. Let's revisit in 2018 and see where things stand. I doubt you'll be laughing at that point.

State elections have no bearing on the trends of national politics.

Hell today belzoni, ms in the delta, a town that's over 80% black, elected a white conservative woman and replaced 2 black democrat aldermen with white republican ones.

By your logic this means blacks are turning republican and Dems are fricked in 2018
