In his prepared remarks before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, former Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Jeh Johnson revealed that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) “did not feel it needed” DHS assistance into hacks of the Committee’s systems.

This means that the DNC, faced with hacks later attributed to Russia, turned down the possibility of assistance from at least two federal agencies – the DHS and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

His name was Seth Rich.

Turning over servers would mean other, unhacked emails would have been made vulnerable. The dnc, fresh off of getting busted rigging the primary, likely didn't want to gamble with an fbi known for its leaks.

Remember, the full on russia collusion hysteria didn't bloom until after hillary lost.

Can't think of many private organizations that are jonesing for the Feds to start digging through their computer databases under any circumstances, so I'm not surprised, especially when you have a willing and compliant media who will spread your spin of the situation.

Why is it some kind of national tragedy that a political organization's communication was leaked?

Also unlucky that Russian spies forced all those millions of voters in Florida and the rust belt to reject Hillary

Biggest take away from this is that the there must still be a few honest people in the FBI and DHS.

I know you might be too old to learn a lesson taught to most children, but let's try anyway...

"It's better to not speak and have people think you're an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"

FBI's Comey: Republicans also hacked by Russia

That's your news outlet CNN...
