They are not our friend and we need the wall to prevent history from repeating.

They also collaborated with the Germans during WWI for the same purpose.

The wolverines didn't have a safe space or a diversity quota either

To be fair, I never got the impression that it was voluntary on their part.
I saw it as sort of a Belgium in WWII scenario.

Do you even Zimmerman telegram, son?

So the Mexican government didn't look into the option and deem it unlikely to succeed? They didn't "promptly" deny it. They looked into it, and decided they would get their shite packed in by the long dicked Americans. They considered it, but believed the Germans wouldn't give the support they said they would and they would undoubtedly lose without much support.
But to act like the telegram wasn't sent. The plans not made, discussed, and looked over, is laughable. It was a dumb idea and wouldn't have worked, but the planning was there And they did attempt to follow though with the plan.
Stop being disingenuous

quote:they looked into it just like every single country would. they wanted to reclaim the lands lost in the southwest portion of the US and it was very clear that they could not do that. so they declined. you say im being disingenuous? how do you say that is conspiring with the germans against us?
They considered it

quote:it was sent without the mexicans initiating it. it was an idea that the germans came up with and they sent it to mexico to gauge their reaction. this wasnt something that the germans and the mexicans were negotiating with one another and ironing out the details that the mexicans backed out of at the last moment
But to act like the telegram wasn't sent.
american and mexican relations were not super great at that moment of time and we routinely had border skirmishes and thats why most our army at that time was stationed at the border. the germans thought they could play that rocky relationship into getting the mexicans to act, not the other way around

The Zimmerman Telegram was a British forgery.

Looks like Texas was the weak link.
I KNEW we should have never let them into the SEC.

Yes. Because you are.
col·lab·o·rate
k?'lab??rat/
verb
cooperate traitorously with an enemy.
"the indigenous elite who collaborated with the colonizers"
synonyms: collude, conspire, fraternize, co-operate, consort, sympathize; informalbe in cahoots
"they collaborated with the enemy"
See. They were in cahoots with Germany about a plan to attack the underbelly of America. They didn't come to America and say hey, Americans! The Germans are trying to get us to attack you!
The only reason we found out, was because of the British. Now, had the messicans came up to Washington on DAY ONE, then they would have not been collaborating with Germany. But since they had an open line of communication in regards to invading America, even though this plan fell through and went no where, it was still a collaborated plan between two countries.
You're being disingenuous.

We can't let that happen again.

The British forged the hoax Telegram and blamed it on Arthur Zimmerman. Britain needed the US to come in and protect their inbred asses from the healthier and stronger Germans. The Midwest German-Americans did not collaborate and did not back the Plan of San Diego in 1915 either. The Anglo-Saxon South has been jealous of German-Americans because German-Americans and immigrants basically won the Civil War and went on to civilize Texas so that it wouldn't be as backward as the states east of TX.

where was this on their end? where were their ideas on invading the country? where was their negotiations with the german government on how exactly this would go down? there wasnt any. because they werent conspiring against us. because they were never going to invade this country even if they would have liked to have regain control over the southwestern portion of our country
