Freaking great!

Fake News member goes off on a question and narrative about the attack on women with regard to POTUS’s order regarding the Federal govt not paying for contraception.

SHS then lowers the boom after citing religious freedom as being the basis by continuing:

For those that disagree with the constitution.

“Contact Congress and get them to change the Constituion if they don’t like it”

Freaking awesome

That’s lowering the boom?

The hyperbole has really gotten out of hand.

Well...considering that's exactly what they want to do in the first place...

It is a “boom” when someone finally explains and says what to many in the media and to many people on this board-people like you included- that lack a basic understanding of how our government is supposed to work.

Let me try and explain in terms even my 6 yr old understands:

Your dear leader of the past 8 years ruled us by executive fiat. This is why much of your dear leader’s “accomplishments” are being wiped away with the stroke of 45’s pen. So when SHS says if there are people that don’t like 45’s rolling back of Barak’s Constitutional overreach to call Congress and get them to change the constitution and or codify something it is a boom as a vast majority of people here lack basic comprehension and understanding of how govt is supposed to work.

Isn't it amazing, and sad, that so many folks were just fine with Obama doing unconstitutional things and then turn right around and scream bloody murder when Trump undoes those things?

So if a Christian Scientist runs a company can they avoid providing their employees with any health insurance at all?

That's the logical extension of your argument.

And what's wrong with that? Nobody is being forced to work for that company.

Well, since the MSM has had a free hand in ignoring, misapplying, or re-writing the Constitution for the last 8 years . . . . then yeah, it was a shot across the mouth

Yes.
Exactly. Health INSURANCE plans were added by employers to attract qualified workers as an incentive to work for a company. Then others did the same to stay competitive in the workforce. It was never, ever, a right that everyone was entitled to. If you wanted to work for Company A or Company B, and Company A offered a higher salary, but no insurance, and Company B offered a lower salary, but included insurance, and both wanted you to work for them, you have the freedom to choose which is the right decision for you and both companies have the right to choose how they structure their salaries and benefits to attract employees.

You realize, I hope, that no one HAS to work for said company? Are you arguing that health insurance is compensation now? Because it is not, it's a BENEFIT one that an employer should be free to offer or not.

TRANSLATION: You dear leader ruled by fiat so our dear leader is also ruling by fiat and it's good when our dear leader does it but bad when your dear leader does it.
