I'll give you a hint, Mr. Trump has shined a light on a certain group of these individuals.

***Seems like the AP, who is no fan of TRUMP's stance on illegals, would have pointed out the suspect's legal status in the article to quell any animus towards illegals had this been the case.

Interesting omission...will be interesting to see.

I'm assuming he's an American citizen until something comes up to show otherwise.

If that something does come up I'll definitely want to know why it wasn't mentioned earlier.

If any of his victims were also illegals do they go towards the kill count?

I am conditioned now to trust nothing written or said in any form: print, radio, tv.

I am also conditioned to question omissions that do not fit the narrative of the MSM and their Lefitist ilk.

What makes you think he's an illegal brah?

I read a similar article this morning and it wasn't mentioned anywhere that he was here illegally. The crimes were freaking crazy though. 9 shootings and several dead And that's just what they know of.

They say a lot by omitting some things.

Isn't this what happened in Canada a few months ago? The guy was a terrorist but yet it was a couple of days before it was reported in the news that he was Muslim?

The omission of his status gives me pause based on the times we are in. You have those on the right clamoring for Kate's law to be passed and the fact that the violent crimes of some illegals had become such a story since Trump shed light on it. It just seems that the AP would want to quell any potential fuel to the fire when it comes to treatment of illegals by stating in the article that the suspect was in fact a citizen.

Depends on where they get buried. If their bodies get sent to their home country then it should be counted as deportations...

Just like black on black crime this will be largely ignored by the MSM and useful idiots on social media/forums.

This is the third, at least, serial killer Phoenix has had in the past decade. I guess the heat drives people mad.

Perhaps it's "omitted" because he's not illegal? Interesting that you immediately assume every Hispanic is illegal. Ted CRUZ and Marco RUBIO are just two who may not agree with your asinine assumptions.

So you instantly believe, based on name, that this is an illegal? Shocked the sterotypes of trump supporters is once again proven valid.

So does OP know from another source that the dude may be illegal?

Or is this where this dumbass board is at, that we think it's media bias if the MSM doesn't include the legal/illegal status every time a hispanic guy makes the papers?

Actually, many news reports are quick to point out the immigration status of those who are illegal because sensationalism sells. AP includes.

You can blame the AP for a lot of things, but protecting the immigration status of illegals ain't one of them.

This is one of the most pathetic posts I've ever seen on this board.

Would you be happy requiring every Hispanic having a little sombrero tattooed on them and stitched on their clothing so we know if they are legal or not? Why is it your automatic assumption that he's illegal?
