The OP is complementing a conservative for standing up for what's right and shutting down a medium used for violence. The journalist believes in free speech, but she acknowledges that inciting violence is something different all together.
Essentially, the OP is complementing a journalist for shutting down Nazis. He's doing exactly the opposite of what you claim.
