The black community's sense of religion is in a neck and neck race with the Italian community for being the most skewed.
If the church wants to fix their perception problem, they will start ex communicating these types. However, I doubt any of these institutions are willing to give up that revenue.

Well, there is the case of Karla Faye Tucker praying to Jesus:
She chopped a man to death with an axe. She testified that she had an orgasm with each chop. I know there is a debate about vaginal and clitoris but I've never heard about axe to the head orgasms.

I had that feeling as I read it also
however, he is not attributing his observations to an entire race, just to those members he comes into contact with, the criminal element

What? Only about 5% of African-Americans are Roman Catholic. The Church can't excommunicate people that aren't a part of it in the first place.
Oh, and that article is racist as frick, and that's coming from a pretty conservative dude who hates most of this racial stuff.

Yeah, I mean this is pretty bad.
I think the other tends to mean this is the clientele he works with, but he comes off as if he is talking about all black people.
Clearly the people using public defenders are not the best of society. Even if they represent a fair portion of that demographic.

He's making a generalization from observation. In my life I've found all of those observations to be true. If that's racism so be it. I call it science.

yeah, like I said, I think he is only talking about those people he has come across, which is the criminal element, which is a very small percentage of the entire black population

i am pretty liberal and its definitely racist.
At least he has first hand, relevant experience for him to make these broad generalizations off of. I am sure his job is very difficult, so I will give him a pass.
I do not believe for a second he is liberal tho
