I'm gonna be pissed if Comey gets charged and Crooked continues to pollute this earth untouched. The uncuckening needs to happen.

It's just like a personal note you write on your work computer and print it then delete. It is your own document

Just so I have it straight. Dems now think Comey is legit? Right??

It is not like that at all. Comey's memos are federal records according to the federal government.
What the federal government thinks are federal records
"Records include all books, papers, maps, photographs, machine-readable materials, or other documentary materials, regardless of physical form or characteristics, made or received by an agency of the United States Government under Federal law or in connection with the transaction of public business and preserved or appropriate for preservation by that agency or its legitimate successor as evidence of the organization, functions, policies, decisions, procedures, operations, or other activities of the Government or because of the informational value of the data in them (44 U.S.C. 3301)".

Records are defined in various statutes, including the Federal Records Act and the Freedom of Information Act. The definition that follows is from the Federal Records Act that governs agencies' records management responsibilities.

My point was just that it is a federal record. If according to the OP, the law states "one may not take and convert government documents for ones own purposes."
It could be argued that Comey may violated have this.
Not sure to the relevance of the destruction of a memo which was already leaked.

this is usually why people don't show up to testify for these hearings or do like Lois Lerner and just sit there and plead to the 5th for everything asked of you

lulz. swing and a miss idiot. if you think anything comey said today wasn't thoroughly vetted you are dumber than a sack of rocks. he's had weeks to prepare.

I'm guessing you thought trumps attorney was wrong when he said Comey leaked before the tweet. Because he wasn't prepared. Amirite??

by showing up and not pleading to the 5th, he admitted to violating serious crimes

Who asked for it to be destroyed? And thanks for the link that you will provide in advance.

Records whether classified or not are covered by the Federal Privacy Act. For example your 1040 info is not classified and can't be released to the public.

The records comey released weren't his personal property.
