Even 306 electoral votes isn't considered a landslide, historically speaking.
304 to 227.

That's a pretty good whipping. Sure made your arse red.

304 is a Texas away from not being elected president.

Hey. Guess what.

You lost. Get over it. Kiss the ring and bow down. If you play nice you can get on the train, just be sure to sit in the back.

So by this arbitrary standard for a landslide, Obama won both his presidential elections in much bigger electoral college landslides.

whatever semantics you want to spin to defend the Fuhrer. My point remains, Trump isn't helping by even attempting to rub it in. Just another example of him being a divisive clown.

Eh. Obama did the same thing with his "elections have consequences" and "get in the back seat" BS back in 08. Republicans lost their shite, but at the end of the day, he was never interested in reaching across the aisle, so he didn't gaf. He was flexing his muscles.

I suspect that's all Trump is doing, especially since dems are trying to delegitimize his election at every turn with all of this pop vote and Russia shite.

Literally zero people are claiming anything to the contrary.

The map for NY state is pretty dominantly red.

Trump won in a landslide in the only statistic that matters - electoral votes. Not since 1988 has a Republican won as many EVs as Trump did. And Republicans as a whole won in the biggest way since the 1920s - the last time they controlled the House, Senate and Presidency

It was a landslide. 304 to 227 is an arse whooping. Not sure how anyone could argue otherwise.

It's precisely the argument our founders made for the EC.

That's moronic?

Think I heard Rush say that if you throw out California and New York...Trump wins by 3 Mil.

Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Florida had better get ready for an influx of Illegals; the Dems will try to put those votes where they can count.

Maybe not a technical landslide, but to act like it isn't a MASSIVE victory for trump is just asinine. He came out. With no political experience. Was made a laughing stock of the media, and faced the BIGGEST political name in todays world. He was out spent 2 to 1. Anything more than a SLIM 5-10 point lead is a landslide in respect to the challenge he faced.

Think of it like this. Alabama just lost the National championship to southeastern by 2 touchdowns.

While 2 touchdowns isn't a "landslide victory" on its own merit, when you put who won vs who lost it quickly becomes a HUGE victory.
