Clinton has a 20-point, 57%-37%, lead over Bush, an 18-point, 57%-39%, advantage over Paul, a 17-point, 56%-39%, lead over Huckabee, and a 55%-40% advantage over Ryan.
Christie trails her by 16.

frick. That may be insurmountable, even this far out. What a huge advantage out of the gate.

Who would have thought that the republican party, which was the party that minorities voted for up until the 1990s, would ultimately succumb because of those same people.

It's probably unavoidable at this point. The GOP will have to drift further and further left to remain relevant, until it's unrecognizable.

Don't be prone to panic, that same poll had christie at 49% to clinton's 46 % before the scandal.
Well, Christie was a product, in large part, of the mainstream media. It was a brand he built for years, in part with the aid of a natural disaster. He was relevant, and a contender, by their good graces. I don't know who else can draw that sort of positive press before the election. Rand maybe, but they're gonna work him over.

I'm not too worked up about the GOP losing, but I think Hillary will irritate the shite out of me.

I'm no Chris Christie fan, but I find it interesting that he is destroyed over closing a bridge and lying about it but Hillary, who has repeated lied about Benghazi which resulted in the murder of Americans, is so popular. What kind of idiot walks into a voting booth and votes for a completely corrupt witch like her?

It's February...of 20 fricking 14.

The turd I just left in the bathroom could probably garner a few votes at this point.

It amazes me that Americans wouldn't be exhausted from the Bush's and Clinton's by now and would even entertain having Hillary as president after all they know about her and Bills shenanigans. It's a pity that the candidates are this poor that we'd have to settle for garbage like her, and probably do so for 8 years.

I lost faith in this country's voting populace long ago. Hillary might as well just select Pelosi as her running mate.

This. Wayyyyy to early to be taking these polls seriously.

I love how people are just assuming that Clinton is going to be the Democratic nominee. People have NO idea what Democrats are going to run or who will be the next Obama to crash the Democratic primaries.

There won't be an election, Obama will declare himself overlord by then.
