Because it will temporarily abate the frenzied pace of thread-starting by Josh.

This has nothing to do with pot.
This about opioids,

Lortab, promethazine, diazepam and other more lethal stuff is in high demand.

You know only 1 of these is an opiod or even high demand.

God, the irony is so damn near close to physically existing you could cut it with a butter knife.

Less criminalization of drugs leads to less non-violent "criminals" being arrested, which leads to less people in prison, which leads to less people being denied jobs because of a criminal record, which leads to more people securing unskilled labor jobs, which leads to less people on public assistance, which leads to less government spending. That's not even thinking about the economic benefits of paying for less people in prison, the de-militarization of local police departments, and the restoration of the 4th Amendment.

There are a lot of ignorant conservatives, especially on this board who refuse to understand this.

It's ok. We're going to wind down the war on drugs sooner or later. It will eventually happen and its only a question of when.

It's getting a bit disappointing in theory, although I don't disagree with any major TRUMP policies yet (aside from his support of CuckCare).

I agree, there are lots of marijuana addicts that need help, some of them I've known personally.

You're right I listed 2 that are mixed. The point is, is that there's a really bad epidemic going on with prescription drugs and that what this is to address. Fentanyl, codeine, oxy are in big demand of course, but the dealers also know how to mix stuff in Scedule I.
I don't care for Christie at all, but this is not about pot.

But it still doesn't answer the question is why we get the big government, corrupt, establishment politician to address the problem. His mentality is just the status quo on the WODs.

Chris Christie

I swear it seems like Trump is bored lately & trying to troll the moderates of his own supporters with the tone-deaf decisions he's been making.

Yea, you got 4 years, & 2 months in are pissing a lot of ppl off.
So much for the republicans "re-branding". Both sides are frickin lunatics!

A lot of the new drugs are bad news; there are a lot of decent folk out there who are going down. Let's hope that they deal with what is a serious and growing problem...rationally, practically and morally, as such relates to the free rights of RESPONSIBLE individuals.

I don't touch pot anymore - not because I think I'd lose my grip - but simply because there are folk in my circle who'd think that if I use, and suffer no ill effects...that means they can too. Which would be a costly assessment on their part. I know, they'll probably ignore me and follow their (genetic/cultural instincts anyway. But it won't be on my conscience.

So, seems it's a matter of conscience for them that serve conscience. Outside of that...leaves in the wind.

Pot is a herbal wonder drug. Like Bill Hicks said, it should not only be legal but mandatory.

Well since drugs are regulated by the Feds, it makes sense that the Feds work on stopping the abuse.

You're obsessing over one guy. It's a bone thrown to him by Trump. I was a Rubio supporter so I have no love for Christie. There are lots of other people on that commission.

I can see it now. Christie sitting around a table talking about how bad weed is while crushing double cheeseburgers.
