Further proving you don't understand. Uprisings in the Middle East are ALWAYS a foreign policy problem.

No need to continue the debate if the foundation you want to argue on is flawed.

Reminder. After watching over the economic collapse of 2008, you nominated Mitt Romney. The same Mitt Romney who was in bed with credit rating agencies.

Is that the same network? Why.....yes, yes it is. Damn, Decatur, I can print a CIA document on my computer, logo and all.

That was like a million years ago, CBS is straight and narrow these days.

No.

What's shameful is the false immediate explanation which was issued out of either incompetence or duplicity. What's shameful is the explanation being nonetheless deemed acceptable for the sole reason of partisanship. That is shameful indeed.

Be careful. Decatur might post a four page manifesto on how those documents were actually legit.

Then the video excuse failed, as protests erupted around the world after it being blamed for Benghazi. Either way, Obama failed.

The only thing I've seen that they changed is that they replaced an AQ reference with "extremists". If that is it I'm not sure that this amounts to much. There were people from several groups involved, as well as people who did not belong to any groups at all. They may have thought it better not to focus on one group, at least at first.

So you are basically saying Benghazi was political and not a flashmob event.

Oh wait, CBS a media whore for the left conviniently "found" the talking points. Damn you really get joy out of giving knob jobs every damned day.

Sorta like how Patraeus's e-mails were "accidentally stumbled upon" two days after the election?

Wrong again.

quote:

Petraeus testified that the CIA's draft talking points written in response to the assault on the diplomat post in Benghazi that killed four Americans referred to it as a terrorist attack. But Petraeus told the lawmakers that reference was removed from the final version, although he wasn't sure which federal agency deleted it.

Still not sure if that refers to the same thing Peter King was talking about. Anyway, to further quote from your link:

quote:

Democrats said Petraeus made it clear the change was not done for political reasons during President Barack Obama's re-election campaign.

"The general was adamant there was no politicization of the process, no White House interference or political agenda," said Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif. "He completely debunked that idea."

So now Petraeus speaks for the White House and its motives.

Facts are he put out the facts and somebody changed them. He has no idea why and can't speak for the White House you clown.

Wait. That's the same General claiming to be in the dark as to who falsified the infamous Susan Rice Talking Points, or why. Yet this same General supposedly was adamant there was no politicization of the process? Really?
How does that work exactly?

Q: "General, were the talking points politicized?"
A: "No Congressman, they were not. I don't know who altered them, or why. I just know they were falsified and politics wasn't involved in any way."
Q: "General, how do you know politics wasn't involved in any way?"
A: "I just know."

If Petraeus did not know know who falsified the Benghazi Talking Points or why, how could he be certain the culprit and motive (or both) were not political? I'm going to go out on a limb and speculate you've badly mischaracterized Petraeus' closed-door testimony, Decatur.

"Democrats said", they don't have an interest in this incessant clusterfrick at all. There is a point where even an ardent hack as yourself has to admit the Bull shite stinks and is attached to the sole of your boots.
