CTE is a serious issue that must be addressed.

How can we, as a moral nation, damage the cognitive abilities of our young african american men, and then expect them to lead our nation in the future?

Damage them for what? For our own ENTERTAINMENT?

SAD!

So what you're really saying is the ratings are down?

But qualify the ratings decline to match-ups?

first let's consider that 2016 was a decrease from 2015 and i'll walk you through it from there

so the pregame show was up from last year

game was down

never has the NFL ever combined pre game and game to call it a win, yet here they are pushing this to their outlets. but wait, there's more. it also shows 2 very interesting things

1. that people interested in the NFL did not watch the game (patriots and Houston no excuses)

2. that there's a material drop for the combination to represent an increase.

it's almost as if people tuning into the pregame didn't like what they were watching and hearing and turned that shite off.

Redskins vs Raiders isn't as appealing as Falcons vs Packers. But sure it's because Trump

ratings are going to be fine. The new team in LA will help out the ratings.

Hell, I am just waiting for New Orleans to prove yesterday wasnt a fluke and I will be watching every one of their games.

I do love Trump messing with em though.

There's several links this morning showing, overall, ratings are down after the first two weeks.

Maybe you need to go surfing. Hang ten!

It's just funny to me that you can guys can observe a few percentage point drop in one rating, a few percentage point upswing in another, and then declare that Trump is right and it's because players are kneeling.

Cherry pick data, perform zero analysis of the causes, and declare yourself victorious!

I mean I have no idea what is actually happening because I'm smart enough to know that the ratings are inconclusive at this point.

are you retarded? the nfl has a ratings problem that NO ONE denies exists.

you can argue why, but you can't argue the ratings were down. their biggest ratings win was week 2 sunday night football that was up 5% over a 16% decline the previous year...that's a red flag

Year 3 actually. The ratings for the first two weeks of this season averaged ~3.4 ratings points lower than the first two weeks of 2015 and overall 2016 rated an average of 1.5 lower than 2015.

Ratings war really is helping me in my daily life. I can't wait for the ratings to go down next week so I can get that better health insurance premium, or lower tax cuts. Surely this will be the driver for all the change in DC I am looking for?

Nice name calling. Yeah, the NFL has a long-term ratings problem. Trump is clearly trying to tie the kneeling to the ratings in the short term.

Again Trump is clearly trying to connec the dots between the ratings and the kneeling. That's the flaw dude.

Were the protests across the board all season? Or select games more recently?

Because someone posted earlier NBC SNF viewership is down a lot

CBS reports. (don't they sell ad space?)

I'll wait for the Neilson ratings later in the week, thank you.

end of story. they thought 2016 was a one off but the first 2 weeks show it as a trend that is gaining momentum. networks overpaid for rights before the ratings slide. this is their 1 source of revenue

as they realize it's not a one off and they are in crisis mode. the last thing they wanted was more attention

that 5% increase over a massive 16% decrease was a divisional game between new York and dallas on SNF...more than anything that sent them to defcon1

But down 25% from the last two weeks. Get your facts straight snowflake. Viewership is going down! Cancellations for Sunday Ticket is up.

NFL is going to lose this one!
