They just dis a vote and Cassidy voted to proceed with impeachment trial. What a POS that guy is.
This vote didn't matter. I read it as him lodging a protest vote against the amateurish quality of the legal team today. He'll vote to acquit when it matters.

He voted simply to let trial PROCEED
quote:I love Trump. That said, what Cassidy voted for is simply saying you can't plead "not guilty" to vehicular homicide because you sold the car. The liberal sky-screamers need to once more have it thrown back in their faces with a virtually assured not guilty verdict from the Senate. This will convert to new GOP seats in the House in 2022 midterms. See how that works now?
He voted in favor of the constitutionality of proceeding on impeachment against a private citizen.

But it is a bit more like getting indicted for a felony two days before the Statute of Limitations runs. The State can still try you next month ... AFTER the SoL.

Warren Buffett once said "Wall Street is the only place that people ride to in a Rolls Royce to get advice from those who the the subway". I believe that politics is the only place where a person in a trailer park (that may have failed civics) thinks they're smarter than a congressman who's likely gone to an Ivy league school and studied government
