Therefore

Because sexism.

Look at that, the process works. All that bullshite worry is just that. If she made it thru, she belonged.

So she couldn't hack it, but at least she had the opportunity to prove she couldn't hack it.

Good for her for going for it.

This comment made me laugh

Has a woman ever made it through regular SEAL training? Maybe they should start there before they try for Officer training.

There will never be a female SEAL unless they modify the requirements. It's just way to physical. Not that some women don't have the 'want to' to do it, but I just don't see any of them having the strength.

That's what all of this was to begin with.

My main issue with the whole "women in combat roles" thing is if they try to lower the standards/requirements in order to ensure some females can join. Just like affirmative action, it will ensure bullshite quotas cause unqualified individuals receive special treatment at the expense of our warfighting ability.

Injecting politics into the military in order to weaken it should be a capital offense.

Not many on this board would last a week, but there isn't a woman ON EARTH that can make it through Seal training.

But I've been told by movies for 25 years that this is real life:

Are you saying Hollywood has been involved in social engineering?

If you can handle the requirements, then sure.

If you wash out, no blaming anything other than yourself.
