re: Is the term oriental offensive? - GumpInLex
Yeah the food you can normall get at Thai restaurants (at least in areas other than Los Angeles) isnt really great. Haha whenever we meet strangers that i wanna mess with and make feel uncomfortable, i tell them we met after I ordered her off of thaibrides.com. Peoples' horrified reactions are p...

Haha thats the beauty of an interracial relationship. There are all sorts of lines to cross and boundaries to push. Also a lot to learn about culture. That Thai food though :pimp: i am spoiled there....

re: Is the term oriental offensive? - GumpInLex
My wife is Thai, and honestly i dont really think she'd be offended if someone referred to her as oriental (depending on the context). She lets me jokingly refer to her as Siamese, so i guess she's chill about stuff like that....

re: Would you change churches - GumpInLex
God gives us free will to make choices. Without that free will, the concept of Love cant exist. He's not playing puppet master, but That doesnt mean he doesnt have a guideline that he wants us to follow. And people arent born gay. There is no gay gene. Some people are born with desires that other...

re: Would you change churches - GumpInLex
The New Testament says that homosexuality is a “shameful lust” (Romans 1:26), a “shameful act,” an abandonment of “natural relations” (Romans 1:27), a “wrongdoing” (1 Corinthians 6:9), and “sexual immorality and perversion” (Jude 1:7). Homosexuality carries a “due penalty” (Romans 1:27), “is contrar...

re: Pete Carroll ~VS~ Nick Saban - GumpInLex
Yeahhh... Russell Wilson > Daunte Culpepper. Had Saban gotten his way and the team docs approved of Brees, we could very well be talking about Saban being a great NFL coach. Carrol walked into a team that only had a few missing pieces for success. The Dolphins organization is a mess....

re: Trent Richardson's NFL career continues - GumpInLex
He benifitted greatly from having great O-lines in college, but zone blocking also helped compensate for his lack of vision. He always knew where the hole was supposed to be, as opposed to a power run scheme. Its a lot tougher to make the jump to the league if you're not used to that type of blo...

re: Trent Richardson's NFL career continues - GumpInLex
Meh, he could pull a Ro McClain and surprise us all. Hopefully the Ravens realize he would benefit greatly from a zone blocking scheme and make some adjustments. But this will definitely be his last stop...

re: Kentucky people - GumpInLex
I work only a couple of miles from the Woodford reserve distillery. Not my thing though, i usually (although not always) prefer a more mellow bourbon. My favorite: Weller 12 yr (although its impossible to find once people found out it's the same mash as Pappy van Winkle) Other bourbons i real...

Kind of funny that with all of Oklahoma's "domination" that Big Game Bob has only delivered the same amount of nattys as Gene Chizik. Sweet troll thread though....
Heck, when was the last time a KY horse won the Derby?
Winstar produced a winner very recently... And easy with the low blows. The coal industry may be getting raped, but we still have all the bourbon....

re: Which group is more mistrusted in the world's society? - GumpInLex
Meh, for some folks it might be a social club, but it's really meant as a vehicle of self-improvement. But again, guys get out of it what they're seeking. Sadly for many masons, it's nothing more than having a meal and conversing with friends a couple times a month, while entitling them to wear a ri...

re: What are Socialism and Communism? - GumpInLex
But is it really communist? There is more or less an elite, favored class in N.Korea that pulls the strings in that country. Also, you/your family have to be looked upon with favor to even be allowed to live in Pyongyang....
