There are a lot of stories out there saying that per the exit polls Clinton really won the election. Three blue states that turned red and went for Trump, so goes the narrative, he carried by an aggregate of 140K votes while across this broad land of ours she has a plus million votes overall.

Hmmmmmmmm………. Her idiot sheep and shills have a collective brain wave. Were the votes in those states fixed somehow for Trump?

The point is – the various states can still decide which set of electors go to the EC vote on 12/19/16. Will some states renege under pressure and send Dem electors instead of the Repub electors that Election night showed should be going?

Danger Will Robinson! Danger!

The 1876 election had a big freaking mess in the EC involving the electors from a number of states and the seating of some properly selected, if you want to delve into such a confusing story.

No, and I think it would be terrible if EC delegates tried to change the outcome. What a fricking nightmare that would be.

I don't like that Trump won, but a peaceful and uncomplicated transition is best for everybody. The results of the election were legitimate and in accordance with the electoral laws of our country.

No, and she conceded anyway, so why are we still talking about it?

Nope.

And neither side wants the massive civil unrest that would occur if the EC decides to award the office to someone who did not win the election.

Exit polls aren't a reliable enough indicator to say that she "may have won" especially since there are actual results. That's a poor argument.

Not without a real Protest.

And I'm not talking about a few people out in the streets crying bitching and moaning.

I'm talking about millions of people armed with assault rifles overthrowing the Government.

That is why we have a second amendment. For cases such as that.

The folks going to place the actual EC votes are from their respective parties. They are generally big contributors and supporters to those parties. They well know that they would face sanctions and even banishment for bucking their respective parties. Moreover, many aren't making those big donations out of the goodness of their little hearts. They are doing so to gain favor either for their business or political standing. Long story short, they have too much skin in the game to do something stupid.

Exit polls mean nothing.

I can lie to a pollster real easy...nothing ethical about it.
