Why can't you admit this was a Trump failure? He backed it. He said he loved it.

Anything was better than what we have...but this Healthcare situation ain't going away & it's all on Obama.

I seriously hope it's the albatross around every incumbent running for reelection. Get rid of all of them.

Even Democrats admit the ACA has flaws.

Obama himself said he would be in favor of a different healthcare bill if it was better than the ACA.

How in the world does the GOP base their entire existence on fighting the ACA for 7 years and not have a consensus on how to replace it?

Because their supporters didn't care enough to demand it before throwing their trust behind them to be the people to fix it.

I'm sure that's how Ryan will spin this.

Never mind that they have the power. If they have the power and can't change this then what the hell did you guys vote them in for?

If true, they deserve to be a minority party.

Paul Ryan's plan all along, as I have pointed out for the past 4 years

And the Paul Ryan apologists like Pettifrogger and such said I was wrong every step of the way

Is ACA repeal failure just another sign of the takers outnumbering those putting in?

Sorta. I think repeal would have passed. The fact that Republicans thought they had to replace it with a bill with just as much mooching... may be the indicator you're looking for.

I have more issue with "Was this the best repeal we could come up with?"

I voted for Trump because the alternative wasn't an alternative.

The takers are those in Washington

R's have a 44 vote majority in the house, and they couldn't even get it to the floor.

Yeah it sucked. I was in banland for a bit. I'm not sure at what point they let me out...just noticed I could upvote people a week or two ago.

That's a failure of leadership.

Just like when Obama had the house and the senate and struggled to get ACA passed early on.

This one's on Trump.

From my average memory of the time:

The struggle to pass the original ACA, lead to the creation of a shell of it, that we currently have.

Kind of think it was designed to be easily defeatable by the R's, as they campaigned against it since it was created. Forced Vetoes on bills they sent to Obama. Just to end up not being able to kill it in the end.

Sad.

Translation: We actually want Obamacare to stay to please our corporate overlords, but wanted to make a play to our constituents that we "tried" to repeal it just so they don't get mad at us.

There certainly are some that feel this way, but they aren't the conservatives.

Midwest is going right back to blue. What flipped them was Obamacare screwing them over, so if the party that they just put in a majority can't fix that for them, then they'll go right back to voting for their status quo. Good job, Trumpmonkeys.

Are you saying that Trump's campaign promise to create more jobs didn't have anything to do with the Midwest voting for Trump?
