No it's not religious oppression I hope happens, it's religious eradication I seek.

Nothing good ever comes from religion.

Nothing.

Never has.

Never will.

It's fun to watch all the defenders of the religious corporation try to pretend that the various religions don't make oogles of money off their flock.

You do understand that churches run off of the money "GIVEN" to it by it's members, right? Why do you want to penalize people for giving?

Except that corps pass the taxes on to the people and churches would pass to the congregation.

Since people are not forced to give to their congregation, most churches in the U.S. would close their doors if the tax-exempt status was lifted. Progressives have wanted to get rid of religion for the centuries, this is just the newest ploy. Stalin would be proud.

Because the church is subordinated to the state, correct? And the state is subordinated to, who?

You are just a statist/humanist, plain and simple. That is your form of worship. That is your supreme being.

Yep.

Churches are not corporations for this reason alone. They don't even have a product to sell.

Nobody's surprise by that. The evangelistic atheist douches can be spotted miles away.

It absolutely kills you that people donate their money to churches. You can't stand it so you try to equate the donations with commerce.

I enjoy seeing you get so angry about it.

Yeah, kind of how I laughed at your idea as to the church being subordinated to the state. Kind of missed that one, huh?

Nah.

I simply despise what religion has done to us as a society.

So much conflict in the world can be traced to whose method of worshiping an invisible skygod is best.

It makes me nuts.

The OP is freaking out because a government decided that a ten year old law should in fact be enforced on everyone in the state.

Religion again.

I could care less what you believe in...really I could.

But I am tired of seeing what you believe in affect my life.

They don't. It's weird. They do sell Tshirts for $10, so they're probably sitting on a gold mine.
