I dunno about that. but I definitely have a different set of values than most here.

I see nothing wrong with abortion. Now would I prefer the woman to be on free, gov't provided birth control to getting an abortion? Yes I would, mainly due to cost. its a lot cheaper for birth control.

Its really a simple cost equation. Someone who doesn't want a kid is going to do a shitty job raising it, and likely suck off the gov't teat.

So why not support something like mandatory vasectomy's on any male on welfare and mandatory injected birth control for woman on welfare?

Of course that's slightly ridiculous too, but at least those people have a choice of what they do, the fetus does not. Abortion is a terrible means to end, and it isn't the only choice, it's just the easiest.

I am in no way agreeing with California on this, but if I'm reading this correctly, the insurers are being ordered to provide the coverage. If the churches were self insured would this still apply?

Yeah, IDK but... I think even if you are self insured you have to insure the minimum coverage mandated by the state.

In all seriousness, this is pretty likely to happen.

You're a sick frick to think surgical abortion is awesome. And I'm not against abortion but id rather only chemical abortion in the first 9 weeks be legal. People can decide by then whether to have a baby or not without waiting and going through a disgusting and evil procedure.

He's a shitty troll who fancies himself enlightened. Typical attention-seeking behavior, just let him talk.

And what a wonderful world we will have when the only conscience we have comes from the state.

Next I hope we go after their tax exemption status.

Time to get these multimillion dollar corporations paying taxes like the rest of us.

If that happens then separation of church and state will be officially over with.

Funny how Libs scream when people in public schools want to pray but it's ok for the state to force the church to perform services against their beliefs

That is a pretty sad position to hold. I'd rather go the other direction and increase the number of tax exempt individuals.

Do the members and employees of churches not pay taxes?

I'm not against anyone praying anywhere. It just shouldn't be done by someone representing the school. Students praying at their desks or between classes is no big deal, and isn't now.

I'm sure you do. I tell you what, if you will agree to do away with Welfare as a whole, then you can take away a church's tax exemption.

So silly. The category of "non-profit" isn't going anywhere. Whether it's the Red Cross or the Southern Baptist convention.

None of it's funny. Just accept that they want to destroy alternative viewpoints and the people that hold them. Literally destroy. They care nothing for you, nothing for your offspring, nothing for anything because they have sold their souls.
They are the same people who committed the atrocities of the 20th century. They will do it again if we let them.
Don't try to be friendly with people like ASUROB and this Hawkeye character. They are monsters.
